Job Description


Responsible for the strategic roadmap for loyalty partnerships
Developing and implementing the PAN India and international CV Partnerships strategy 

Conceptualize and negotiate Loyalty partnerships with brands to generate revenue, acquire new customers and gain strong foothold in the market
Manage and develop innovative products for CV partnerships
Responsible for managing all CV partnership initiatives and account management with partners.

Take ownership of systems integration for CV partnerships by giving clear system requirements, follow up, UAT and final closure. 

Establish and maintain existing and new Co brand credit card partnerships
Strengthening strategic & tactical partnerships with like-minded brands across categories (Hospitality, F&B, Retail, Travel & Lifestyle, Luxury, Banking, Auto, E-Commerce & so on) 

Creating and implementing monthly marketing plans for partnership
Manage and run engagement and promotional campaigns with partners to deliver ROI positive results

Building and managing strong relationships at senior levels with partners
Build annual budgets and targets and deliver on the same for Loyalty partnerships

Liaise with internal departments such as, Finance, Legal, Revenue Management and work towards strengthening working relationships
Deliver regular clear, accurate and commercially sound analysis performance against targets with partners
Establishing regular partner review and update meetings

Skills and Attributes

Should have demonstrated success across multiple partnership setups in the past.

Should have an excellent network and liaison with multiple brands across industries

Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Should have managed IT and systems implementation in CRM platforms related to partnerships
Should have handled alliances and partnerships for a loyalty program in hospitality or Aviation.

Relevant skills in MS excel, PowerPoint.
Exposure to international CRM systems a plus.

Haryana govt finalises action plan for International Aviation Hub at Hisar


 

The Haryana government has finalised action plan for the phased development of International Aviation Hub at Hisar in three phases.
In the first phase, the existing airfield will be upgraded into a Regional Connectivity Scheme Airport under UDAAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme in six to eight months time.
In phase two, the runway will be extended from 4,000 feet to 9,000 feet for Maintenance, Repair and Overhauling (MRO), parking and sub-basing operations, an official release said here today.
Finally, after a Detailed Project Report (DPR) study, bids will be invited for developing an International Aviation Hub, including an International Airport, it said.

BIG DEAL: SpiceJet inks whopping Rs 81,000 crore deal with French major Safran Group for aircraft engines

New Delhi: In one of the biggest deals in Indian aviation industry, #SpiceJet today inked Rs 81,000 crore deal with French major #Safran Group for CFM aircraft engines.

SpiceJet and Safran Group have now finalised the purchase of LEAP-1B engines to power a total of 155 Boeing 737 MAX planes, along with spare engines to support the fleet.

The deal was inked at the Indo- French Economic Partnership signing ceremony here on the occasion of French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to India.

SpiceJet CMD Ajay Singh and Safran CEO Philippe Petitcolin signed the MoU in presence of Union Minister of civil aviation, Suresh Prabhu.

Ajay Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of SpiceJet said: "We are looking forward to introducing the new LEAP-1B into our fleet. From what we have seen so far, the LEAP-1B is living up to its promises for efficiency and reliability.

Safran Group CEO Philippe Petitcolin said it has been exciting to watch the SpiceJet airline grow over the years, adding he believes it has a very bright future.

The airline has also signed a ten-year Rate per Flight Hour (RPFH) agreement with CFM Services that covers all #LEAP-1B engines powering SpiceJet's 737 MAX planes.

RPFH agreements are part of CFM's portfolio of flexible aftermarket support offerings.

Under the terms of the agreement, CFM guarantees maintenance costs for all SpiceJet's #LEAP-1B engines on a pay by hour basis, the release issued by the #airline said.

The foundation of the LEAP engine is heavily rooted in advanced aerodynamics, environmental, and materials technology development programs. It will provide 15 percent better fuel consumption and an equivalent reduction in CO2 emissions compared to today's best CFM engine, along with dramatic reductions in engine noise and emissions. All this technology brings with it CFM's legendary reliability and low maintenance costs.

LEAP engines are products of CFM International, a 50/50 joint company between Snecma (Safran) and GE. CFM is the world's leading supplier of commercial aircraft engines. The company CFM officially launched the LEAP engine, which is its first all-new centerline engine in nearly 40 years, in 2008.

The LEAP engine promises to bring double-digit improvements in fuel efficiency, emissions and noise, while the legendary reliability and low cost of ownership of its predecessor, the ubiquitous maintaining CFM56 engine family.


Sikkim: First civilian aircraft Spicejet Bombardier Q400 makes historic landing at Pakyong Airport

Pakyong, March 10: Today Pakyong Airport witnessed a historic moment as the #Spicejet Bombardier Q400 aircraft made a successful landing. Spicejet's landing is dubbed as a big boost to #Sikkim's tourism segment.

This is the first time that a commercial flight has made a successful landing at the #Pakyong #Airport.


On March 5, the first aircraft, a 19-seater Dornier 228 of Indian Air Force landed at the newly-constructed Pakyong airport. Despite poor visibility, the IAF aircraft made a perfect landing at the airport.
  After a short stay the Spicejet aircraft took off to #Kolkata.

Spicejet receives Best Domestic Airline Award, Vistara named Most Passenger-Friendly Airline


HYDERABAD: #Spicejet was awarded the ‘Best Domestic #Airline’ at Wings India being organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in the city.
The award was given after a jury headed by former Civil #Aviation Secretary and Chief Election Commissioner of India, Nasim Zaidi, selected the winner. Ajay Singh, chairman of Spicejet, received the award. The #airline has ordered for #Boeing 737 aircraft, which are expected to join the Spicejet fleet in August.
On Friday, Honda #Aircraft Company also announced expansion of Hondajet sales to India. Arrow Aircraft Sales and Charters Private Limited have been appointed the sales representative.
Also, Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited was recognised as the ‘Best Ground Handling Service Provider’ and ‘Best Cargo Service Provider’.
Chartered flight services provider Club One Air also announced introduction of a Dassault Falcon 2000 plane to its fleet.
On Thursday, #Vistara Airlines was named the Most Passenger-Friendly Airline and Telangana was adjudged the Best State with Dedicated Outlook for This Sector.

#Airbus to deliver one #plane a week in India for next 10 years

Hyderabad: Airlines in #India will take delivery of one Airbus aircraft every week for the next decade, French aircraft manufacturer Airbus said in a statement on Friday.
Airbus, which currently has more than 300 aircraft in operation in India flown by various #airlines, has 530 aircraft in its India order book, it said in its 20-year India Market Forecast at aviation event Wings India 2018.
India, said #Airbus, will need as many as 1,750 new passenger and cargo aircraft over the next two decades to meet the exponential rise in both passenger and cargo traffic.
“By 2036, Indians will each make four times as many #flights as today,” it said, adding that traffic serving the Indian market is forecast to grow 8.1% per year over the next 20 years, almost twice as fast as the world average of 4.4%.
While much of the future air traffic growth is expected to be driven by the fast expanding economy, rising wealth and urbanization, ambitious government-backed regional connectivity programmes are also set to enhance demand for air travel, added #Airbus.

Jet Airways to order 75 narrow-body aircraft by March 31: CEO Vinay Dube


The aviation sector is buzzing with reports of fresh orders by Jet Airways and market leader IndiGo. At the three-day Wings India 2018 convention held in Hyderabad, Jet Airways CEO Vinay Dube, without naming any manufacturer, said Jet hopes to order 75 narrow-bodied aircraft by March 31 in addition to 75 Boeing 737 MAX that the airline had ordered in 2015. IndiGo, on the other hand, has reportedly ordered 50 Airbus A330 wide-body jets.
 
The order book of Indian carriers stands at over 1,000 aircraft, and there are over 500 aircraft flown by scheduled commercial airlines at the moment. In terms of pending orders, IndiGo is much ahead of the competition with nearly 400 Airbus A320s, and about 49 ATRs on order. This is followed by SpiceJet, which has firmed up its orders for 155 Boeing 737-8 Max, and 50 Bombardier Q400s.
 
Airbus has estimated that India will need some 1,750 new passenger and cargo aircraft over the next 20 years to meet the exponential growth in passenger and freight traffic. It includes 1,320 new single-aisle aircraft and 430 wide-body aircraft valued at $255 billion.
